Part Time Instructor - Psychology

Nevada State University actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Nevada State invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person, online, and/or hybrid courses in Psychology- modality will depend on teaching assignment.

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined bycourse availability.

Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,160 percredit hour. Courses are 3-4credits.

• Master's degree in Psychology or closely-related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship(Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

• Previous teaching experience in higher education.
• Evidence of effective teaching, e.g., student evaluations,observations, etc.
