Responsibilities- Senior Designer is recognized as being capable of performing difficult and technically challenging work which may be assigned to them within their engineering specialty. May oversee portions of a project and may be assigned the project leader responsibility on projects.
- Reports to a Group Leader but takes direction from Engineers or Project Manager with minimal supervision. Perform complex design duties under the direction of the Engineer of record. May not change the scope of work or deviate from any part of the contractual document without Project Manager's approval. Coordinate work of staff within the project.
- Senior Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining the satisfaction of existing clients.
- Using prescribed methods, performs specific and daily assignments of a Senior Designer. Applies standard practices and techniques in situations, adjusts and gathers data, and follows operations through a series of related steps or processes. Performs a variety of technical tasks, including:
- Proficient use of computer spreadsheets and design programs for engineering analysis and equipment.
