Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full‑time Mechanical Engineer to join our team on‑site in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting‑edge electro‑optical products. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing—to bring innovative concepts from design through to production.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for products.
- Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis using FEA/CFD tools.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD.
- Support system integration and testing of mechanical and electro‑optical assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Contribute to prototype builds, reviews, and iterative development cycles.
- Proficiency in Solid Works and AutoCAD.
- Experience in mechanical design, finite element analysis, and computational fluid dynamics software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
- Design experience for machining, additive manufacturing, or other production methods within the past year or two.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with FEA, CFD, and simulation tools for mechanical analysis.
- Experience with electro‑optical systems or military/aerospace R&D projects is a strong plus.
- A Ph.D. in a related field is a plus.
The position is on‑site, requiring attendance 5 days a week from 8am to 4pm. The work environment is casual, allowing jeans and polo attire.
