** Overview
* * AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Henderson, NV office.##
** Your role
*** Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents for water infrastructure projects.
* Support engineering studies and planning activities by collecting data, performing basic analyses, and completing routine calculations using established methods.
* Assist in evaluating design alternatives and documenting findings under the guidance of experienced engineers.
* Prepare portions of technical reports, permit application materials, and project documentation for review by senior staff.
* Assist with data collection, research, and analysis related to site conditions, regulatory requirements, and project feasibility.
* Support construction-phase activities by reviewing project records, tracking progress, and assisting with document management.
* Create basic graphic presentations, exhibits, and supporting materials for project deliverables.##
** About you
**
* EXPERIENCE:

No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.

* EDUCATION:

Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil or environmental engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
* SPECIAL

SKILLS:

Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.  + Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.  + Proficiency in Microsoft Office  +

Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station (preferred)##
