Job DescriptionAbout the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Accountant or Assistant Accountant (depending on experience) on a 15-month contract to join our ASX-listed organisation. This full-time role provides exposure to a broad range of financial activities and is suited to a motivated finance professional seeking to develop their experience within a supportive team environment. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working alongside the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing bank reconciliations for all entities
- Preparing weekly cashflow reports
- Managing invoicing and working closely with project teams to ensure timely billing
- Maintaining client profiles and managing aged debtor accounts
- Managing month-end closure for overseas entities and reconciling intercompany accounts
- Preparing end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of Group BAS, payroll tax, PAYG, FBT and other statutory tax returns
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and supporting inventory management
- Assisting with half-year and end-of-year audits
- Providing backup support for Accounts Payable
- Undertaking ad hoc duties as required

About You
To contribute to our continued growth and success, we are seeking a motivated finance professional who ideally has:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce and/or Accounting and is working towards CA/CPA accreditation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Results‑oriented mindset with demonstrated analytical, planning, and organisational skills
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
In addition, the following would be highly advantageous:
- Knowledge of Epicor
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry
