Loan Document Specialist

• Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderately complex loans, using comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures for loan products
• Processing
• Closing and compliance for loan products
• Interpreting policies while analyzing applicant, property and documentation
• Ordering all required verification , documentation and subsequent follow ups
• Working on the MLA team – This department buys closed home loans from banks
• Candidates will be responsible for reviewing loans, loan documents, and huds all day with no client interaction
• Really understanding the loan process with little error is key to success in these roles
• Will be required to work with multiple loans at a time
• Will be required to check 8-10 loans a day (typically takes 45 minutes per loan

• Must be punctual and reliable
• Recent college graduate is a plus
• Evidence of being promoted with previous employers
• No more than 1-2 years of mortgage experience
• Leadership experience or proven record of leadership abilities (dual major, clubs, groups, sports, volunteering, etc.)
• Rapid learner, flexible to change in procedure
• Strong customer service focused (although they are not working directly with customers, their work has a direct impact on the customer and internal partners)
• Analytical skills, competitive, detail oriented
• Goal orientated individuals who can produce at high volumes while maintaining excellent quality
