Experienced Hair Stylist

• Provide professional haircutting, coloring, styling, and treatment services based on training and areas of expertise
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand each guest’s goals, hair history, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences
• Create customized service plans and recommendations for each guest
• Educate guests on professional products and at-home hair care
• Maintain accurate guest information, formulas, and service notes when applicable
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships that encourage retention and referrals
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, products, and education
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized workstation
• Manage appointment timing while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive salon culture
• Participate in salon education, meetings, events, and professional development opportunities

• Current cosmetology license as required by the state
• Strong technical skills in haircutting, styling, color, and/or specialty services
• Established understanding of professional hair care and product recommendations
• Excellent consultation, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
