Occupational Therapist - Henderson Health

Join Flagship Therapy’s in‑house rehab program to provide occupational therapy services at our post‑acute facility in Henderson, NV.

Duties
  • Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc.
  • Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modify services in relation to patient evaluation and refer as necessary.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
Qualifications
  • Occupational Therapy license is required.
  • Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels – new grads are welcome.
  • Experience working in post‑acute or geriatric settings is a plus.
