We are a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 10‑17) with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Henderson, Nevada, located within 7 miles of Las Vegas Strip and close to Lake Mead.

• Providing assessment, interventions, treatment planning and discharge planning, as well as providing individual, family and group therapy to further patient/family/group progress in treatment.
• Facilitating substance abuse groups with the adolescent/adult populations. This position will allow the opportunity for employee to complete chemical dependency assessments, offer community resources, and family education to support our patients during their recovery.
• Employing a variety of cognitive, behavioral and insight‑oriented modalities of treatment.
• Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting each unit’s treatment program, assuring the delivery of quality and consistently excellent treatment to patients and their families.

Education
: A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university.

Licensure
:
May be an NV licensed intern working towards licensure or fully licensed in CSW, LCSW, LPC, APC, MFT, etc.

Experience
:
Minimum One (1) year experience working as a therapist in Mental Health, preferably in an acute hospital setting or residential setting.
