The PRN Medical Assistant supports a primary care physician, performing clinical and front desk duties to deliver excellent patient care and guest experience.

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked
• Review prior medical information and gather updated health data from patients
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures; coordinate with labs for additional tests
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations per provider orders
• Partner with care team to develop individual patient care plans and address gaps in care
• Front desk duties: patient scheduling, medical record abstraction, documentation, coordinate specialist visits and referrals, and other clinic care coordination
• Record accurate and pertinent data in the medical record per documentation guidelines
• Process test results and provide patients with timely results via e-message, mail, or phone as directed
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible patient groups
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care; may vary based on clinic needs
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
• National or state‑specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred; required in states where certification is mandatory
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
