Job SummaryThe Donor Coordinator's primary responsibility is to coordinate and direct the donation process for whole body donors. The Donor Coordinator will work closely with funeral homes, hospice, and donor families in coordinating care. A Donor Coordinator must possess natural empathy and sincerity to counsel grieving families.
Essential TasksFrequently, the Donor Coordinator’s decisions and actions strongly impact the company’s revenue, operations, reputation, and/or customer satisfaction. Donor Coordinators follow routine procedures, established guidelines, or clearly stated standards, makes few independent decisions, and performs work under close supervision.
Knowledge and Skills- Efficiently utilize office machinery
- Complete tasks using computer software at an average to advanced skill level
- Provide excellent customer service via all instruments of communication
- Comfortably interact with funeral homes, hospice programs and hospitals.
- Previous working experience in the medical field preferred.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Lifting up to 25lbs.
- Speaking English clearly and fluently
- Training will be from Monday-Friday 9am-530pm.
- After training hours will be schedule for 40 hours a week.
