Legacy Golf Club - Guest Service Attendant
Job Type: Part-time
Location: Henderson, NV
Salary: $45,000.00 - $61,000.00
Senior Level: Entry level
Summary: The Golf Services Attendant should have a friendly and helpful attitude as you would be responsible for assisting the guests at the golf course, charging and preparing golf carts for the day to day operations, and assist golfers in loading and unloading their golf bags and clean guest golf clubs and shoes.
Responsibilities:
- Setup bag drop, cart staging and driving range areas before guests arrive; keep all areas clean and stocked.
- Greet arriving guests, unload and shuttle bags, park cars, answer questions, give directions.
- Staging golf carts for guest use and maintaining the cart barn.
- Perform required cart maintenance procedures, including preventative maintenance.
- Communicate constantly with Starter/Greeter, Guest Services Manager, Golf Shop, Cart Attendants, Bag Handlers, and Player Assistants.
- Assist the Starter/Greeter with bag handling and other guest needs.
- Ensure all departing guests are greeted, bags shuttled and loaded, cars retrieved, questions answered, directions given, and thanked for visiting.
- Keep all areas clean and organized.
- Perform opening & closing procedures and secure the owner’s assets.
- Perform other duties as requested by WGP Corporate/Guest Services Captain/Starter & Greeter.
- Monitor pace of play at all times and record on pace of play log sheets.
- Inform guests about current course conditions, rules, restrictions, inclement weather, etiquette, and activities that may affect their round.
- Maintain clean and stocked carts and supply inventory.
- Check on-course restrooms for supplies and cleanliness; replace cart directional stakes/ropes and fix ball marks on greens.
- Roam the course to pick up debris, monitor safety issues, assist groups with cart or GPS problems.
- Work with tournament department to manage proximity markers and group positions during tournaments.
Requirements:
- Customer service experience.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Exceptional grooming habits; maintain clean, complete uniform as designated by Management.
- Availability for all major holidays.
- Must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Physical, environmental, cognitive, and social requirements: sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping; standing for long periods; operating outdoors with mechanical parts, weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise level.
- Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting; climbing, kneeling in and out of golf carts; twisting at neck and waist; reaching above and below shoulder level; pushing and pulling when retrieving, storing, and moving golf bags; using dominant hand/fingers to feel, grasp, push, pull and find manipulation to detail carts, clean clubs and use two‑way radios.
