Lead Steward – Banquet / Casino

The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is looking to hire a full-time Lead Steward with Banquet experience. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Lead Steward directs and manages cleaning staff and is responsible for delivering the highest quality service to the client.

Compensation: Salary: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to kitchen and banquet employees.
• Conduct employee training and coaching when needed.
• Ensures quality standards are met in accordance to goals and client requirements.
• Ensure safe operating practices are enforced through effective management and training.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

At least 2 years of janitorial leadership experience in a large complex facility/organization is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the English language.

Ability to work varied and flexible shifts when required.

Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and squatting is required. Frequent light lifting of 40 pounds is required.
