We are a fast-growing food manufacturing company operating across Nevada and California. Our team is committed to producing high-quality products in compliance with strict food safety and labor standards. We are seeking an experienced and bilingual HR Manager who is knowledgeable in both Nevada and California labor laws to lead and support our HR department.
Position Summary
The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and training programs. This individual must ensure that HR policies and practices align with NV and CA labor laws while supporting a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with NV and CA employment laws.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for plant and office staff.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and workplace safety regulations.
- Partner with leadership to design training, career development, and performance management programs.
- Oversee payroll processes and coordinate with accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain HR records, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while promoting company culture and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production, or related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of California and Nevada labor laws.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required – must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proven experience in employee relations, compliance, and HR program development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and Microsoft Office Suite.
