Production Support Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled developer to join our team in a production support role, maintaining and enhancing our existing web application. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with user-reported issues, and making immediate impact on system reliability and user experience.

• Production Support
  :
  Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by end users in our live production environment
• Issue Analysis
  :
  Use strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical problems across our full-stack application
• Bug Fixes & Hotfixes
  :
  Implement timely solutions to critical production issues
• System Enhancements
  :
  Contribute to feature development and system improvements as time and priorities allow
• Documentation
  :
  Maintain clear documentation of issues, solutions, and system knowledge
• User Communication
  :
  Work with support team to communicate technical solutions and timelines to end users

No supervisory responsibilities

• Backend
  :
  Proficiency in .NET 8
• Database
  :
  Solid experience with MySQL, including query optimization and troubleshooting
• Debugging
  :
  Excellent debugging skills across the full technology stack
• Version Control
  :
  Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

• 5+ years of experience in web application development and support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record in production support
• Experience investigating and resolving user-reported issues
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple issues effectively
• Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of web application security best practices
• Experience with (or willingness to learn) MERN stack (Mongo
  
  DB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and Type Script
• Background in Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Work is generally performed within an indoor office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
• General office environment requiring frequent sitting; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse; walking and standing for long periods of time; and lifting of less than 20 pounds.
