What’s Involved- Drive strategic alignment of digital initiatives, ensuring solutions are aligned with SSA objectives, articulating stakeholder needs and translating them into prioritised, value‑driven outcomes.
- Enable effective requirements management through elicitation, validation, and management of high‑quality business and functional requirements that lead to successful delivery of fit‑for‑purpose digital products and services, minimising rework and enhancing user satisfaction.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication by building and maintaining strong relationships across the SSA Enterprise and technology domains, ensuring shared understanding, timely communication, and stakeholder buy‑in throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support data‑informed decision making by leveraging data analysis and insights to support business cases, evaluate solution performance, and inform decisions that improve outcomes and reduce risk.
- Ensure quality and traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle by maintaining traceability of requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed specifications and SSA business needs with minimal defects.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (typically 3–5+ years) as a Business Analyst in digital, IT, or transformation environments, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements, including user stories, use cases, and process maps.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as SQL, cloud platforms (Azure), and data visualisation tools (Power BI).
- Familiarity with data science and AI workflows (e.g., model development, deployment, governance).
- Analytical thinking and a strong ability to analyse data, systems, and processes to find optimal solutions.
