Technical Support Specialist – IT & AI Tools Pay Rate: $25.00–$28.00 per hour

Job Summary We are seeking a tech-savvy and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist with at least 2 years of technical support experience. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others develop their computer skills.

This role requires CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. Candidates with experience in Microsoft Office, video editing, and AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT and Hey Gen are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshoot common computer, software, and network-related issues.

Assist users with computer applications, basic technology questions, and technical difficulties.

Train and guide individuals with limited computer knowledge, explaining technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

Help users navigate Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common computer programs.

Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

Utilize AI tools, including ChatGPT, to support productivity and streamline workflows.

Assist with video editing and the creation of digital content as needed.

Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

Maintain a professional, helpful, and customer-focused approach when assisting users.

Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience.

CompTIA A+ certification – mandatory.

CompTIA Network+ certification – mandatory.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts and provide computer training to individuals with limited technical experience.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience with video editing software and digital content creation.

Familiarity with ChatGPT and other AI-powered tools.

Experience using Hey Gen or similar AI video creation platforms.

Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving software and tools.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is patient, approachable, and comfortable working with people who have varying levels of computer knowledge. They enjoy solving technical problems, teaching others, and exploring new technologies, including artificial intelligence tools.

Compensation Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
