Build a commercial-lines book of business through prospecting, risk discovery, carrier collaboration, and long-term client relationship management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop prospects through referrals, networking, community outreach, and disciplined outbound activity.
- Conduct discovery meetings and gather complete underwriting information.
- Coordinate submissions, proposals, and coverage comparisons with agency and carrier partners.
- Present solutions clearly, close new business, and maintain an accurate pipeline.
- Support renewals, cross-selling, retention, and stewardship for commercial clients.
- Follow licensing, documentation, privacy, and carrier requirements.
- Active Nevada Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain it promptly.
- Commercial insurance, B2B sales, banking, payroll, benefits, or business-development experience is preferred.
- Strong consultative selling, organization, negotiation, and follow-through.
- Existing community relationships are a plus.
Compensation: $15.00/hr base wage (W-2), always paid and never deducted from or recovered against commission. Plus commission on new business only: 30% on agency-provided leads and 45% on self-generated business during your first 90 days, increasing to 40% / 55% after the 90-day review if production targets are met. Overtime is paid per Nevada law. Commission depends on individual production and is not guaranteed.
Full-time, in-office in Henderson, NV.
