Pre-Litigation Attorney

Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Prelitigation Attorney to prepare and send demands, negotiate, settle, and disburse personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Preparation & Case Advancement

- Draft, review, revise, and finalize demand packages.

- Follow up with insurance carriers to confirm receipt of demands.

- Prepare low-offer responses and counter-demands.

- Maintain documentation of negotiation activities.

Negotiations & Settlement

- Obtain written settlement authority from clients.

- Conduct weekly negotiation follow‑ups.

- Request and review releases; consult partners when needed.

- Investigate additional insurance coverage; open new claims when required.

- Resolve subrogation issues prior to settlement.

Initiating Litigation

- Prepare complaints to initiate litigation, if helpful to settling case prior to full litigation.

- Prepare petitions for minor compromises, including proposed orders and supporting filings.

- Coordinate with clients/guardians for required signatures and documentation.

Disbursal & Lien Reductions

- Determine lien reductions; obtain partner approval for reductions.

- Coordinate with team for final balances and reductions.

Collaboration & Partner Communication

- Work with partners on release issues, demand approval, conditional language, and case strategy.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

- Licensed Nevada attorney in good standing.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills.

- Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload.

- Personal injury experience required.

- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
