The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures all materials, ingredients, and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped in accordance with company procedures and food safety regulations. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and compliance with all safety and quality standards in a food manufacturing environment.

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other goods.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Accurately prepare shipping documents and labels, including bills of lading, pick tickets, and packing slips.
• Package and palletize finished products for shipment according to customer specifications and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality control departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform regular inventory counts and maintain warehouse organization.
• Inspect and report any damages or discrepancies in shipments or inventory.
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in shipping/receiving and storage areas.
• Follow all company safety protocols and food safety procedures, including GMPs and HACCP requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
• Basic math, computer, and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various temperature conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Exposure to cold/hot warehouse conditions.
• Noise level may vary; hearing protection provided if necessary.
• May be required to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime.
