Broadwater sugar mill need a MECHANICAL FITTER. Permanent role available, 20 minutes from Ballina.Hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required during crushing season (June - December). Enjoy a 9 day fortnight during maintenance season (January - June)
We are looking for
- Trade qualifications (Certificate III and Certificate of Proficiency)
- Heavy Industrial/Shutdown experience
- Proven exposure to working on a wide range of equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, boilers and turbines
- Ability to fabricate small & large components
- Machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise jobs
- Commitment and good attitude to safety and culture
- Teamwork and willingness to share knowledge and guide apprentices
