Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Henderson, NV

Job Type: Full‑time

ENTEK is seeking applications for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join us on‑site at our Henderson, Nevada location. Relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required.

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at ENTEK, you will locate parts according to BOM, sales order or other requirements, and inventory items for shipping. You will package items as needed to ensure quality standards upon arrival and utilize the shipping process to ship items to customers. Your responsibilities also include unloading and receiving incoming materials for work orders, assembling kitting kits, and maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

• Locate parts according to BOM, sales order, or other requirements and inventory items for shipping; package items to ensure quality standards and ship them.
• Use UPS World Ship for smaller or expedited items.
• Prepare larger items for shipment in custom-built crates, pallets, or other containers to meet quality assurance standards.
• Package items for ease of customer assembly, including printing and organizing plan/drawing packages and clearly marking kits.
• Kit and package sales orders so the recipient can easily reference a BOM and account for ordered parts.
• Design, order materials, and build custom pallets, skids, crates, and boxes for shipping high‑value products.
• Load and coach OTR drivers on properly tying down products to avoid damage and ensure our quality standards.
• Account for all incoming parts/items for projects in the AX system.
• Reconcile incoming parts with vendor pack slips, tag parts, place them in appropriate location, and mark them as received and accounted for within the kit.
• Alert concerned parties if an expedited or requisitioned item arrives.
• Identify Kanban items and reconcile with the appropriate card.
• Deliver items to departments throughout campus or to designated inventory locations (fittings, fasteners, steel for machine shop, etc.).
• Unload and receive incoming materials for work orders.
• Receive, account for, and deliver customer‑supplied products.
• Assemble kits (“kitting”) using the latest BOM as a checklist.
• The driver will be in the Portland area 3–4 days per week.
• Handle priority or “hot” parts and materials for pickup or delivery as required.
• Jump off task and assume driving responsibilities when needed.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing Kaizen, 5S, RIEs, and other work area standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Time‑management skills and self‑manage behavior.
• Ability for independent, reasoned decision‑making.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1‑year experience in Shipping and Receiving.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The incumbent must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
