Salary: $85,000-$89,000.00

TLC Care Center is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Prevention Nurse (SDC/IP) to join our leadership team. This role is critical in ensuring our residents receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and facility standards.

As the SDC/IP Nurse, you will oversee staff education, training, and orientation programs, while also managing infection control policies and practices throughout the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who enjoys mentoring staff and making a direct impact on quality outcomes.

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct orientation and ongoing staff development programs.

• Maintain accurate records of training, competencies, and in-services.

• Serve as Infection Preventionist: develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies.

• Provide education and guidance to staff on infection control practices and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote compliance and quality care.

• Monitor resident and staff infection data, report trends, and implement corrective actions.

• Current RN in the state of Nevada.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care/skilled nursing preferred.

• Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory guidelines.

• Previous experience in staff development, education, or leadership role a plus.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
