Job DescriptionTo achieve quality healthcare outcomes by establishing a safe, individualized discharge and providing proficient timely Utilization Management services to ensure maximum reimbursement for all patient visits. This includes proactive collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized discharge plans for patients.
- Provide timely utilization management services for optimal reimbursement.
- Collaborate proactively with patients, families and healthcare team.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Experience: Minimum three years in varied clinical settings; at least two years in Utilization Review, Utilization Management or Case Management preferred. Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting functional status at discharge, and community resources for post-discharge needs.
Technical
Skills:
Computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, data collection/management programs).
License/Certification: Current registered nurse license in Nevada.
