Responsibilities

Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors. Performs similar or related duties.

Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care and specialty hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Education
:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred.

Experience
:
Previous experience preferred.

License/Certification
:
Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.

Other
:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
