What We Are Looking For

The Director of the Nurse Anesthesiology Program (NAP) is a faculty member with administrative and teaching responsibilities in the graduate program.

  • Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited university required.
  • Doctoral degree in anesthesiology nursing, or equivalent, from a regionally accredited university required.
  • Graduate from a program of anesthesiology nursing accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the COA of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • Hold current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Current unrestricted Nevada or Utah license as an APRN (nurse anesthetist).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an active practicing nurse anesthetist.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a didactic and/or clinical instructor in an accredited nurse anesthesiology program, with formal instruction in curriculum, evaluation, and instruction.
  • Experience with accrediting bodies and accreditation processes/requirements.

This position will be located at either our Henderson, Nevada campus or our South Jordan, Utah campus.
