Join a dynamic and collaborative Cardiology team in an advanced practice role that offers the opportunity to play an integral part in the evaluation and management of patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

Under the general supervision of an Attending Physician and working collaboratively with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary care team, the Cardiology Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care to hospitalized patients throughout their clinical course. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and utilize advanced cardiology expertise while participating directly in clinical decision-making, treatment planning, and coordination of care.

The Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive histories and physical examinations, orders and interprets laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, evaluates changes in clinical condition, formulates diagnoses and treatment plans, prescribes medications, and provides ongoing management of Cardiology patients. As an integral member of the Cardiology team, the NP rounds on hospitalized patients, collaborates closely with physicians and other specialists, coordinates care across disciplines, and provides education and counseling to patients and families.

The NP plays an important role in helping patients and families understand cardiovascular diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and next steps in their care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who enjoys clinical problem-solving, complex patient management, and a fast-paced hospital environment. The position provides the opportunity to build specialized expertise in cardiovascular medicine while working alongside an experienced and supportive team of cardiologists and healthcare professionals.
