Join our veterinary hospital as a Kennel Attendant and become an essential caregiver for our animal patients! In this hands‑on role, you’ll provide compassionate, attentive care for pets during their stay with us, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

What Success Looks Like- Compassionate Caregiving:
Providing gentle care, regular walks, playtime, and affection while monitoring wellbeing. - Keen Observation:
Watching for changes in behaviour or condition that might indicate health concerns and promptly reporting issues to the veterinary team. - Immaculate Environment:
Maintaining spotlessly clean kennels, cages, and hospital areas, creating a sanitary, odor‑free space that promotes animal health. - Safe Handling:
Developing trust with animals of various temperaments and confidently handling them during daily care, medication administration, and movement around the facility. - Detailed Record‑Keeping:
Accurately documenting feeding schedules, behaviours, and care provided.
- Having full‑time availability – weekends and holiday shifts required.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare and pet care.
- Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, even when anxious.
- Physical stamina for walking dogs, cleaning kennels, and lifting supplies.
- Excellent attention to detail in following care instructions and observing animal behaviour.
- Strong cleaning skills with a commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and occasionally with pet owners.
- Patience and compassion when working with animals that may be stressed or ill.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of animal care experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn proper animal handling and care techniques.
- Competitive Pay: $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
