Quality Technician – Nights
Ocean Spray Cranberries is hiring a Food Safety & Quality Technician to ensure quality in the plant environment. The role focuses on testing, analysis, and review to meet production quality standards while supporting manufacturing teams with training, record‑keeping, and FSQA maintenance.
Responsibilities- Provide quality testing, analysis, and review to ensure production quality and schedule standards are met.
- Train and support manufacturing personnel in quality systems to maximize product quality.
- Initiate problem‑solving activities related to quality parameter issues.
- Support continuous training, record‑keeping, and maintenance of food safety and quality practices within the plant.
- Act as point‑of‑contact and, in the absence of the Quality Manager, use professional judgment to suggest resolutions to food safety and quality concerns.
- Promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.
- 1–3 years of related experience in quality techniques.
- Strong math skills.
- Effective interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented disposition.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
At least 1 year of experience.
