We are seeking part‑time Baristas to join our growing team at Mothership Coffee & Sunrise Coffee! As a Barista, you'll take orders, prepare and serve hot and cold beverages with exceptional skill, and serve select food items to our guests. You'll educate guests on the drink menu, make personalized recommendations, and upsell special menu items. The ideal Barista is highly focused on crafting the perfect cup of coffee, paying meticulous attention to detail, all while thriving in the vibrant atmosphere of a busy café.

• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages to guests, such as: coffee, blended coffee, and tea; correctly customizes orders as requested.
• Describes product details to guests when requested.
• Receives and processes guest payments.
• Serves prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, muffins, or bagels.
• Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.
• Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating components by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
• Stocks supplies or retail products; may be required to manage inventory orders, or receive products as directed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Good memory to manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall faces, names, and preferences of regular guests.
• Ability to serve guests efficiently, enthusiastically, and kindly.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• $12.00 Hourly + Tips
