Customer Service Representative – Part‑Time Patient Registration

Location: LifePoint Maria Parham Health

Shift

Hours:

PRN‑part time; shifts range between 8‑12 hours.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.28 per hour (US‑based position). Pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience and education.

As a Customer Service Representative
, you’ll help patients check into the hospital. You’ll answer phones and input information in a fast‑paced environment, building trust by listening with compassion and addressing patients’ concerns. You will not need prior healthcare experience; training is provided. You must be up‑to‑date on vaccinations, pass a drug test and a background check.

Expectations in Patient Registration:

  • Work on multiple computer screens and answer phones to intake information accurately and quickly between physician and nurse check‑ins. You will be comfortable typing faster than patients speak.
  • Assist patients who may be ill or worried; listen carefully to ease their anxiety by asking follow‑up questions and building rapport.
  • Operate in a fast‑paced, on‑feet environment, handling varying health plan and coverage details through training.
  • Work as part of a supportive team with opportunities for career growth.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
