Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license in practicing state
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric inpatient medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to make quick, accurate clinical decisions
• Empathy and compassionate patient care approach

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in hospitalist programs
• Transitional care or follow-up care experience
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Participation in quality improvement initiatives

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Completion of Pediatric Residency training
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient pediatric experience
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with diverse patient populations

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours; shift details to be determined
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• Current CPR and PALS certifications
• Must pass background screening and health requirements
