Essential Job Duties

The Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) serves all NC State students through academic affairs, student affairs, and University College. As Instructor/Tutor, you will focus on providing instruction and one‑to‑one or group tutorial services to 21st Century Community Learning Center students. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting participants in academic skill building for core curriculum courses, especially rigorous curriculum courses.
• Conducting or securing facilitators for Special Labs, which may include instruction in ACT test prep, STEM exposure and instruments, workforce development skills, family enrichment activities, and more.

Minimum Experience/

High School Diploma required with sufficient academic standing to provide tutorial services.

• Ability to lift at least 25 lb (student supplies).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience instructing or tutoring students in a K‑12 setting.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $25/hour
