Transitional Therapeutic Services (TTS) is committed to delivering structured, compassionate, and innovative behavioral health services to children and adolescents. Through therapeutic intervention and person-centered care, we strive to support each youth’s ability to thrive in school, family, and community settings. We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Professional to support our Day Treatment Program and help youth reach their full potential.

SUMMARY

The Qualified Professional (QP) in the Day Treatment Program plays a central role in providing clinically appropriate, person-centered services to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. This role involves the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, coordination with interdisciplinary and community teams, and oversight of service delivery in a facility-based structured therapeutic setting. The QP will lead treatment planning and ensure each youth receives supportive services that align with their developmental, emotional, and academic needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide oversight and guidance to Day Treatment staff to ensure treatment goals are met effectively.

Collaborate with medical and non-medical providers (e.g., primary care, psychiatry, DSS, school staff, DJJDP) to ensure comprehensive care.

Ensure timely referrals for psychological and psychiatric evaluations as needed.

Monitor client progress, track interventions, and adjust plans to ensure measurable outcomes.

Maintain documentation and ensure service delivery aligns with Medicaid and regulatory standards.

Support skill development in behavioral regulation, social interaction, coping strategies, and recovery.

Maintain a structured and therapeutic environment tailored to each child’s safety, behavior, and developmental needs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field with 2+ years of full-time MH/DD/SAS experience.

Bachelor’s degree in a Non-Human Services field with 4+ years of full-time MH/DD/SAS experience.

Master’s degree in Human Services with 1+ year of full-time MH/DD/SAS experience.

Licensure as LCAS, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, LPA, or other qualifying NC license is preferred.

Relevant Fields:
Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Human Development, etc.

Population Served:
Children and adolescents with behavioral health and/or substance use needs.

WORK SCHEDULE

A flexible schedule is required, including year-round weekday availability aligned with the local school calendar. Occasional evening meetings or extended hours may be necessary to support families or program activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong clinical understanding of child and adolescent behavioral health and evidence-based practices.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective treatment plans and team collaboration.

Ability to document therapeutic interventions and assess service outcomes accurately.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Capable of working independently and providing leadership within a structured therapeutic setting.

Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Develop, implement, and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) in collaboration with the Child and Family Team.

Facilitate regular Child and Family Team meetings to promote collaboration and goal progress.

SUPERVISION & WORKING CONDITIONS

Reports to:

Program Supervisor and QP Supervisor.

Participates in weekly clinical supervision and staff meetings.

Work is conducted in a structured, facility-based setting, with occasional community collaboration.
