Full‑time, varying shift

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory. Reports to the Director of Laboratory.

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age‑appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Completed an approved nationally accredited training course or program in Phlebotomy (required qualification). Additional requirements include:

• Certification from ASCP or NHA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
