Full‑time (3 days x 12 hours per shift per week)

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will examine patients with breathing‑related conditions, conduct diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.

• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gas analyzer.
• Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per the plan of care, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.
• Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
• Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance, assessing patient condition and delivering treatment.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and available support resources.
• Maintain and inventory respiratory care supplies, including medical gas cylinders.
• Disassemble, clean, sterilize equipment, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of machines.
• Calibrate ventilators and clean equipment components.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, bubble CPAP for infants, aerosol therapy, MDI therapy, pulse oximetry, EtCO2 monitoring, oxygen therapy, CPT, BIPAP, ventilators (adult, pediatric, infant), EEG, and pulmonary function testing.
• Use the computer system to enter orders, document therapy, order supplies, and bill for services administered.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an Advanced Practice Level Respiratory Therapist program with an Associate’s degree in Science or equivalent certification.
• Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification preferred.
