Description
The OR Scrub Tech in Surgical Services is a professional health care giver who serves as the “scrub” person to assist the Surgeon during procedures.
The OR Scrub Tech functions under the supervision of the RN and is responsible for providing operative and invasive procedure based on current standards of care and standards of practice as appropriate for the ages of the patient.
Qualifications
Experience as a OR Scrub Tech helpful.
Completion of an OR Technician school preferred.
BCLS certification required.
One year of OR experience preferred.
