The Area Manager role is designed to oversee specific areas in the warehouse. They are to focus on developing talent, enhancing time management and organizational skills, and fostering a safety‑first culture.

• Strategically manage area in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee assigned area operations
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Other duties as assigned by management

• High school diploma or G.E.D and 2+ years management experience
• Walk / stand for 8 or more hours daily
• Verse in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to push up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to pull up to 35 pounds.
• Sitting for long periods, general bending and twisting are associated with lifting.
• Local travel may be required.
