Edwards Unlimited is a full-service metal fabrication and powder coating shop in Henderson, NC. We are hiring a dependable hand to sandblast and prep metal parts for powder coating.
What you'll do- Sandblast steel and aluminum parts to remove rust, mill scale, and old paint
- Grind, deburr, wash, and dry parts so they are clean for coating
- Plug threaded holes, mask off areas, and hang parts on racks
- Unload cooled parts, pull plugs/tape, and keep the blast area clean
- Dependable attendance:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM - Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for a full shift, and work in a blast hood/suit
- Able to read a tape measure and follow simple shop instructions
- Blasting or forklift experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
- Full-time day shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM) with overtime available
