Job TitleTravel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
- Perform fetal monitoring assessment and documentation using advanced or intermediate-level competency
- Deliver couplet care and LDRP support throughout the patient stay
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a Joint Commission Accredited acute care facility
- Utilize GE Centricity/Paragon EHR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Float to task or secretary role if unit census requires, as needed
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required – must have completed intermediate level at minimum; advanced level accepted as current
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- LDRP experience strongly preferred
- Couplet care experience
- Some NICU experience preferred
- Familiarity with GE Centricity or Paragon EHR systems
- Work within a well-established acute care facility recognized with an "A" Leap Frog Hospital Safety Rating and Joint Commission Accreditation
- Expected 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule with approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule and no scheduled call requirement
