Merchandising Sales Associate

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. The role also includes supporting merchandise and fixture assembly, and maintaining signage. The High Volume FAST Team Member will interact with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor about work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards.
• Perform store measurements and layout initiatives.
• Accurately count inventories and perform cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes.
• Hang store signage, including Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, and Appreciate the customer.
• Ensure a differentiated shopping experience.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required.
• Experience in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise.
• Hard surfaces; adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull merchandise with equipment assistance.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders frequently.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.
