CDL Driver - Henderson, NC

We are hiring truck drivers with Class A CDL, Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements and DOT Medical Card.

CDL Drivers operate commercial vehicles to deliver product to customers or to other Coastal Agro Business locations. Drivers must be able to load and unload the materials using a variety of equipment and by hand. Physical activity is required to perform essential job functions.

This position is full-time Monday through Friday. During peak seasons, extended hours may be required.

• Class A Commercial Driver License with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements and DOT Medical Card
• Prioritize safety above all else, including inspecting and reporting equipment problems immediately, and safely operating different kinds of heavy equipment
• Be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs. Must have manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time according to the work at hand.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
• Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
