Patient Access Representative Lead - Henderson Emergency Hospital Admitting - Full Time
Description
The Patient Access Representative Lead plays an important role in guiding team members, motivating them to stay focused and achieve various goals. In addition to current Patient Access Representative duties, the role serves as the point of contact for information distribution and common day‑to‑day operational issues (e.g., schedule changes), resolves issues when the supervisor is unavailable, handles admitting reporting (e.g., pre‑billing with charges, collections, unbilled reports), and attends meetings as needed.

Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Perform Patient Access Representative duties such as scheduling and registration, verification of insurance eligibility, calculation and collection of the estimated patient portion, and financial assessments for appropriate program assistance.
- Encourage the team to meet collection, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals.
- Mentor other team members and foster teamwork.
- Act as the face of the team and the organization.
- Support the department in achieving established performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards from state, federal, hospital, and regulatory entities.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and avoid soliciting or disclosing confidential data unless necessary for job duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education / Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- None required.
