Adult Inpatient Hospital-Based Psychiatric Opportunity (PATHS at Pardee)

UNC Health Pardee is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join PATHS at Pardee, our hospital-based inpatient psychiatric program. This is a 100% inpatient opportunity within a 21-bed, short-term adult psychiatric unit that serves as a dual-diagnosis addiction treatment center, providing comprehensive care for patients with mental health disorders and substance use disorders.

The psychiatrist will provide inpatient psychiatric care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered treatment.

Practice Highlights:

• 100% inpatient role
• 21-bed adult psychiatric unit
• Dual-diagnosis program treating mental health and substance use disorders
• Hospital-based practice within UNC Health Pardee

You will work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team that includes:

• Medical Director
• Registered Nurses
• Recreation Therapists
• Master’s-prepared Social Workers

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry
• Addiction Medicine subspecialty preferred
