LocationArden, NC. This position will be based at the Borg Warner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC.

The Borg Warner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting‑edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities- Champion and ensure safe working practices are embedded in all processes.
- Serve as the Voice of Quality (VOQ) and primary Quality representative.
- Own and manage the DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan relationship as it pertains to Quality Engineering.
- Lead investigations and resolve complex quality issues through cross‑functional collaboration.
- Conduct reviews of work results at key milestones and product launches.
- Act as a recognized expert in specific commodities and/or processes.
- Follow and promote established procedures and industry best practices.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and lead business process enhancements.
- Support / implement assembly line improvements and Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA) and process controls aligned with safety and Mfg standards.
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization to deliver accountable results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.

- Data‑driven problem solver with creative thinking abilities.
- Capable of managing a broad range of responsibilities.
- Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
- Experience with control systems and electrical/electronics preferred.
- Proficient in GD&T and Metrology.
- Understand operations and manufacturing environment / failure modes.
- Understand equipment calibration.
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Strong in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective actions.
- Ability to implement quality actions that protect the customer that are also viable in a production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical skills.
- Experience in QMS implementation and management per ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with UL compliance and registered parts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 8 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- At least one of the following Problem‑Solving methodologies: 8D, Five Why, Fishbone, Shanin Red‑X.
- FMEA and Control Plan experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
