Job Overview

The Consumer Access Specialist role at Advent Health supports patient access and revenue cycle activities. The position is full‑time and located in Hendersonville, NC
.

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage.
• Create accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility, collect payments, and establish payment plans.
• Coordinate with utilization management staff for pre‑authorization issues and ensure patients have necessary logistical information.
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits, and obtain pre‑authorizations within established time frames.
• Register patients for all services, ensuring accuracy and minimizing duplication of medical records.

• Associate degree, high school graduate or equivalent (required).
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) preferred.
