Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Biller to be part of our Patient Financial Services team in Hendersonville, NC.

The Biller will perform all duties necessary to file claims from across the company, monitor those claims, and collect on the claims with the appropriate insurer or party.
Responsibilities include:
- Bill claims with the appropriate insurer.
- Monitor and correct unpaid claims.
- Post insurer payments in the E.H.R system.
- Post electronic payments for various Blue Ridge Health departments.
- Support other PFS areas and functions as needed.
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding. CPC certification strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years’ experience in medical billing required
- Familiarity with utilizing Microsoft office products (i.e. word, excel)
- Familiarity with utilizing multi-line phone systems, copier, scanner, fax and other office equipment.
