Position Summary
The 3rd Shift Forklift & Palletizer Operator will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work from our Hendersonville, North Carolina location. The operator is responsible for running the palletizer and forklift efficiently, maintaining production area cleanliness and inventory, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and within specifications.
Pay Incentives- Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000, payable following successful 90 days of continuous employment.
- Retention Bonuses:
Two additional $500 bonuses at 6 months and 1 year of employment, contingent on active employment and good standing. - Annual Merit Increases:
Eligible for yearly performance‑based pay increases. - All bonuses are subject to applicable federal and state tax with holdings.

Primary Responsibilities- Operate forklift to stack and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials.
- Maintain inventory and production area cleanliness.
- Document and maintain inventory records.
- Set up and operate automatic palletizer, stretch wrap machine, and related equipment.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Recognize and operate safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
- Operate all machine controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
- Perform code changes.
- Monitor palletizer case formation, change stretch wrap rolls, clear jams, re‑sequence the palletizer, and replace fallen cartons.
- Change codes in the tagger computer.
- Coordinate with the line driver to ensure correct pallets are available.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating the palletizer and HMI touch screen.
- Adhere to all safety requirements and SQF standards.
- Report any food safety issues to management.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months experience operating a forklift and other production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Experience in the food/beverage industry.
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to wet, humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, and possible toxic chemicals is expected.
