This role is based in various locations and focuses on driving market engagement, building community relationships, and delivering sales by connecting with customers and stakeholders at community events.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and represent the company at local events, community meetings, and networking functions to foster strong relationships with community leaders that result in sales.
- Identify and develop partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and influencers to promote brand visibility and community involvement, in coordination with Area Marketing.
- Be accountable for sales goals as defined with local leadership.
- Plan and execute market-specific initiatives, including sponsor ships, pop-up events, MDU events and community outreach campaigns (end to end).
- Conduct activities such as prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and market sales targets.
- Engage with existing customers to identify needs and recommend tailored solutions, promoting Optimum products and services; escalate CX issues to the appropriate team when needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for potential and existing customers locally, ensuring a seamless and positive sales experience during community outreach events.
- Provide guidance on market trends, customer engagement strategies, and operational efficiencies to local teams.
- Support new employee training and onboarding related to sales and community engagement.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to align initiatives and share best practices.
- Report the success of events using KPIs such as interactions, leads, and sales; ensure events are properly staffed and aligned with brand standards.
- Maintain accurate records of event activities and customer interactions.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in event coordination, sales, or community outreach.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical requirements:
ability to walk and stand for extended periods during events; ability to move equipment, supplies and materials to set up events.
