Maintenance Technician III

Duties and Responsibilities

This position performs skilled level Maintenance functions requiring advanced knowledge and experience with Facilities/ Industrial maintenance. This position also performs expert level, highly skilled/technical repairs, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) tasks on County mechanical, electrical, and control equipment. Work is performed under regular supervision.

Candidate must be expertly proficient in the field of HVAC, electrical or control trades; must be skilled in the use of computers and electronic tablets with BAS systems; works safely in low and high electrical voltage environments; skilled in use of, tools and procedures to efficiently perform repairs, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance operations; desire and ability to embrace new technology and programs;

skilled in the use of tools and equipment in skilled maintenance work; ability to safely and efficiently operate a motor vehicle; attends work regularly;
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a certificate, degree, or diploma in HVAC, electrical, control fields, Building automation, Facility or Industrial Maintenance.
